Laser Maze is a hit at Armed forces day
Laser maze comes to Raf Waddington
We were lucky enough to be invaded to provide our mobile laser maze at RAF Waddington . As it was armed forced day. On these kinds of events its essential to allow plenty of time for set up because there are normally lots of suppliers trying to get access at the same time. For this reason we were at the guardroom bright and early and once we have checked in and received our passes we were shown to out pitch.
Airfield set up for Laser Maze
This was an area of grass just off the airfield. After we set up the laser games, we decided to have a look around the other attractions. We where not disappointed, There was a whole area dedicated to inflatables such as, rodeo bull, various bouncy castles, inflatable slides.
The laser tag team did get side traced by the array of food concessions available! So many stalls from hog roasts, burgers, milkshakes, pancakes. Also there was even a prosecco stall.
Also competitive games such as sumo wrestling, bungee run and gladiator dual. Further along we found various royal air force stalls selling interesting merchandise. Including wellington bomber memorabilia.
Laser maze opens for games!
We returned to the laser maze to do the final preparations before starting. Shortly afterwards we started getting families having a go on the laser tag. Family rivalries can come out and parents seem to love shooting their children!! Not always successfully as the younger age group always seems so much better at the laser games. Over the course of the day we were treated to some spectacular scenes such as the spitfire flying past. also the main stage had some great local bands and even a bagpipes set.
As the day drew to the end for us the entertainment moved onto the hangers for the evening part of the event. So we packed up our laser maze and left Lincolnshire and headed home after a fun day!!!!
