Arrival at the Meraki Festival
Extreme Laser tag provide Mobile laser tag at the Meraki festival recently. We arrived at the Hertfordshire county showground couple of days before the festival began. Due to the need to be set up for safety checks.After putting on our hi vis jackets and going through the accreditation we received safety brief. Next we were directed to position to set up the laser maze.We were in the entertainment section in between the climbing wall and giant zip line.
Fun Activities
With the laser maze set up we decided to have a walk round. Everywhere there was other entertainments available to the Meraki festival goers. The Meraki festival is an all inclusive festival. so all of the activities such as laser tag, the virtual reality beach. As the festival is a family based event there were lots to do for younger children including a cinema, enchanted woods and a maze. Also there were yoga sessions and meditation classes.
VIP Yurts
Visitors to the festival either came for the day or stayed over in the camping area or even the VIP yurts. There was a great vibe over the weekend. The laser tag was open between ten and 6 every day and at the strike of ten kids and adults alike ran to the activities. We were busy from start to finish with families going from activity to activity.
Music Acts
As the day turned to evening the activities came to a close. And then it was time for the bands to take centre stage. There were a host of stars including Tony Hadley, Bonnie Tyler, Belinda Carlisle. Also Sophie Ellis-Bexor to name but a few. There were some great performances and all of the acts got the crowd going with great interaction.
Afterwards has been some rave reviews of the festival so its full steam ahead for next year!!!
